Shriram Properties, the Bangalore-based real estate arm of
the $12-billion conglomerate Shriram Group, has bagged the award for ‘Best
Developer in Southern Region 2014' for the second successive year and ‘Best Realty
Investment Partner in India’ by the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry
of India (Assocham). This is the second consecutive year that Shriram
Properties has received the prestigious award in recognition of its
contribution to the Indian real estate sector.
Union Urban Development and Housing Minister M Venkaiah
Naidu presented the two awards to M Murali, Managing Director, Shriram
Properties, at the seventh Real Estate Summit organised by Assocham in New
Delhi.
The group had recently bought a 56 acre land parcel along
Old Madras Road on the outskirts of Bangalore for Rs 155 crore and a 19.5-acre
land parcel in Coimbatore.
