India’s leading car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki sold
110,147 units in the month of November 2014, resulting in a 2.2% rise in shares
to Rs 3,410 on BSE.
The company also reported a 19.5% year on year
increase in its total sales. The car maker had sold 92,140 units in November
2013.
Domestic sales during the month stood at 100,024
units, up 17% from 85,510 units in November last year, Maruti Suzuki India said
in a statement.
Exports in November 2014 stood at 10,123 vehicles,
up 52.7% compared with 6,630 units in the same month last year.
Maruti Suzuki had reported a 1.1% decline in total
sales in October at 103,973 units as against 105,087 units in the same month
last year.
