Rolls-Royce has launched Ghost Series II
car in the Indian market at a price of Rs 4.50 crore. The external changes in
the facelifted Ghost Series II include refreshed LED lights, new bonnet,
bumpers and front air intakes surrounded by chrome.
The British luxury carmaker has also pitched for lower taxes to prompt growth in the ultra-luxury car segment in India.
The company claims that the car can do
the 0-100kmph sprint in just 4.7 seconds and reach an electronically limited
top speed of 250kmph.
Rolls-Royce entered the Indian market in
2005 and presently it sells three models – Rolls-Royce Phantom, Ghost and
Wraith.
Rolls-Royce Ghost was first launched in India in 2009. The company has so far sold 250 units of its three models since 2005.
